This presentation provides an accessible introduction to vibe coding—a new way for non-technical users to write and run code through a conversational process. We'll cover the basics, explore practical applications within the legal field, discuss the inherent risks, and walk through examples so you can see firsthand what vibe coding really looks like.
Presenter: Jillian Bommarito, Bommarito Consulting, LLP
Jillian is an expert in technology governance with over 15 years of experience in compliance and risk management across highly-regulated industries. As Executive Director and Head of Governance at the Institute for the Advancement of Legal and Ethical AI, she leads technical and policy research promoting responsible AI use, including open-source model development.
In her role as the Chief Risk Officer at 273 Ventures, she oversaw the world's first "Fairly Trained" certified LLM. Her work includes strategic AI consulting for global law firms, legal departments, and State Bars. Jillian holds CIPP/US and CIPP/E certifications from IAPP and is a licensed CPA, bringing a multifaceted approach to AI ethics and governance.
